코로나19 범유행에 따르고, 4월 중순에 회장 이벤트 중지와 대체 디지털 이벤트 실시가 방송된 유럽 최대 비디오게임 이벤트 "gamescom 2020"입니다만, 디지털 이벤트 연속 보도가 기다려지는 가운데, 새롭게 Koelnmesse가 프레스 릴리스를 발행하고, 디지털판 “gamescom 2020” 스케쥴을 정식 발표. 맞추어, Geoff Keighley씨가 호스트를 맡는 "gamescom Opening Night Live" 방송일을 변경한 것이 밝혀졌습니다.
디지털 이벤트가 되는 올해 “gamescom 2020”은 2020년8월27일부터 30일까지 실시되어, 인디게임에 초점을 맞추는 “gamescom: Awesome Indies”나 다채로운 주목작을 발표하는 “gamescom: Daily Show”, gamescom 어워드 수상식 “gamescom: Best of Show”, 더욱 B2B 개발자 세션 “devcom digital conference 2020” (8월17일에서 30일까지 실시)이라고 한 행사가 개최될 예정입니다.
